Wow. July, a month of smoke, storms, & floods is almost over. That means the Tour is just two month away. So start making a list of everyone who has been nice to you so you can get them all something special, made by hand and with love. And don’t forget about yourself, too!
JUNE 2025
The Tour is set! Our print brochures are hot off the press and ready to be distributed. We are welcoming back many old hands from previous years and have added some fresh faces, include Rita Bergstedt (handmade paper & mixed media), David Estrada (steel sculptures), Peter Geyen (mixed media), Jillian Helleloid (block printing), Britta Keenan (leatherwork), Patti Johnson (acrylic painting), Chris Monroe (painting & books), Wade Pharr (ceramics), Brian Barber (digital illustration), Jon Hinkel (hand-made books and prints/letterpress), Doug Becker (blown glass), and Kelsey Rogers of Draupnir Farms will be bringing her baked goods to sweeten the whole weekend!

APRIL 2025
The entry process is closed and the Tour Committee will be working on selecting this year’s artists. The tour is just six months away, but in artist’s time that is almost tomorrow. We are looking forward to hosting you in our studios again this year.
MARCH 2025
March came and the snow went. The creeks along the Shore have opened up and are making music to accompany the sound of the juncos and siskins that have take over the feeders. And from the woods you hear “Hey, sweetie. Hey, sweetie” – the call of a chickadee in love.
We have a call out, too, for our returning artists artists & farm sites. We also have our fingers crossed we might have room for new artists. If you are an artist interested in joining the tour, you will find information on the Information for Artists 2025 tab.
FEBRUARY 2025
The Lake Superior Studio Tour volunteers met for the first time to start organizing another great weekend of art, fun, & natural beauty along the North Shore of Lake Superior.
Dates are set! Friday, September 26th, to Sunday September 28th.
Artists – Look for an informal survey in your email gauging your interest in participating in the 2025 tour. Once we establish the number of host sites for 2025 we can then estimate the number of participating artists in the show.
