From my rustic cabin near Finland, MN, I celebrate the color and texture of Lake Superior’s ever-changing seasons. I photograph the beauty of our woods, shore and sky – then use these personal images as inspiration for my hand-knitted creations. First, I pair a favorite photo with luxury yarn from my stash of merino, cashmere and silk. Then I design and knit what I love. Each year I create a limited collection of hats, scarves, wraps and shawls. I knit only what brings joy to me as an artist, with the wish that its recipient will find their own warm connection in color and fiber.
